It's really strange. When i first saw Ghost Light i had no idea what it was about, i just loved the atmosphere. Now i fully understand the plot and it seems fairly straightforward, it just takes some figuring out.

It's basically about a survey ship which crash landed and everyone in the house is a result of the survey and evolution itself. From Josiah to the husks in the basement. Once you are on this train of thought and not hoping for a Sontaran invasion fleet or Doctor Who in it's typical form then it becomes one of the very best Doctor Who stories with so many secrets i learn something new each time i watch it. You don't get that from Genesis of the Daleks.

Just five more pic posts to go for Doctors 1-7 and 10-12 (8,9 and the impostor are finished with completely)

There's still 50 days to go, but after those i think virtually every monster and main villain will have featured.

Not a good idea to build a snow Dalek...

...Because sooner or later, it will start to melt!

What a lovely lady. Makes a Dalek snowman that regenerates into a Tythonian Ambassador.

Paul Vanezis says there are missing episodes of Marco Polo in a Tehran archive, but no one can get access to it.

Well, that's real helpful, Paul...

I was about to go to sleep, was completely tired.

Then I saw "Paul Vanezis says there are missing episodes of Marco Polo in a Tehran archive, but no one can get access to it. "

And now I'm wide awake. I've went on the Gallifrey Base missing episodes thread to check it out some more. Apparently at least the first two episodes are there, possibly more.

Based on how horrible it is right now, They can cancel New Who just to bring back one episode of Marco Polo for all I care, especially if its The Roof of the World.

So this Tehran archive... How would they set about getting inside it then? I want Marco Polo: its my most wanted find alongside Evil of the Daleks!

Saw The Moonbase today. Don't usually watch Who in the afternoon but with our dark and monsoon weather a slice of 60s spookiness seemed appropriate! I've always liked The Moonbase and I thoroughly enjoyed it this time around, only the 2nd time I've seen it with the animated episodes, which are one of the better animations. Great Troughton.

Controversy alert: I like it far more than Tomb.
