I was wondering Dave, The Undead has a fifty minute audio interview with Arkoff on it. Do the discs all have the same extras or are they different? |

All the discs have the same extras Dem. The films are available separate and turn up regular on ebay and amazon. The Undead was the hardest to find individually at one point and demanded high money but even that title is now available on from amazon sellers quite cheap. The films were released again as MOD DVD-R discs. These are identified with a white band on the bottom of the case picture. |

The Magdalene Sisters 2002 Three young women in Ireland, Margaret who was raped by her cousin and guilty of the sin by her family, Bernadette who her family think she is sexually active, and Rose who had a baby out of wedlock, are sent to the Magdalene washhouse/laundry asylum run by nuns in the 1960s. Everyday the nuns dehumanize the girls and break their spirits. Based on true accounts this is a great moving drama, it shows how nuns can have no concience as they belive they are doing good work, by treating the women as prisoners/slaves rather than treating them as people. Geraldine Mcewan plays Sister Bridget, the head nun who encourages other nuns to belittle the women and is not shy handing out the discipline, cane to bare legs, shaving hair or beating with the leather strap. There is some upsetting moments with one of the women who appers to be mentally challenged as she is pushed to limits and sent away from the laundry house. After the film was released, survivors of the Magdalene houses came forwarded to say that what was shown in the film was only a small part of how the nuns and priests were, we can or cannot imagine the damaging effect of the survivors. This is defeniatly worth a watch. 10 out of 10.
