I watched The Video Dead last night. It's a very silly film, with almost no internal logic to it at all, but it managed to keep me entertain for an hour an a half. There could have been a bit more gore, and the pace of the film was a tiny bit slow, but the zombies looked ace, and the film had a really great atmosphere.

I watched Prowl last night.
was average at best, nothing new apart from the twist at the end.

I watched Chaos last night, taped off the Horror Channel a while back. Pretty bad Last House On The Left rip off.

watched Gene Wilder's Haunted Honeymoon that i Sky+'d the other day, quite funny in parts and Dom Deluise is a hoot in drag but they kind of got to then end and couldn't finish it and just stuck some ridiculous ending on. Not a patch on the ending of Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein but worth watching for a chuckle...

Watched both FRENCH CONNECTION films on blu ray last night. I always thought I preferred DIRTY HARRY but now after watching these again, maybe POPEYE DOYLE & "CLOUDY" BUDDY RUSSO ("you wanna play hide the salami, With this old lady?") are the way to go

Must see's anyway if anyone hasn't seen them... William Friedkins direction in the 1st film is incredible and that tube/car chase has probably never been equalled.

What did you think of the colours on The French Connection Blu-ray? I've read that they are absolutely horrible and Friedkin has really just done a terrible botch job, from which cinematographer Owen Roizman has distanced himself.
