Demoniac is very good. One of his best films, suitably nasty and sleazy. Is that the one also known as Exorcism? I'm pretty sure i've mentioned this here (possibly more than once). I ended up with the film unwittingly. It was on one of those cheapo 20 film sets, under another name with a 12 certificate. The full uncut US Synapse release. |

I've been watching a lot of films this last week, trying to make sure I watch films I haven't watched before but there have been some rewatches. I've been keeping my Letterboxd account up to date so I won't list all the films here but one that I was super impressed with was La mariée était en noir (The Bride Wore Black), I can't believe I haven't viewed this before, it's so stylish and understated, I highly recommend it - yet another film to add to my favourites.

Interstellar (2014) - 5/5 As I was hoping, it's up there with 2001: A Space Odyssey and Tarkovsky's Solaris in terms of thought-provoking science fiction. It was an incredible experience in IMAX, it really felt like I was travelling through a wormhole and the film is just so visually epic throughout. It also quite accurately puts on-screen something I have experienced before which many will think is only theoretical, or even only fantasy, so I was loving that because I know it's real. My friends and I were discussing the film all the way home, a good sign
