Drop Dead Gorgeous 8/10 Always thought this was totally underrated. Loads of brilliant performances. Allison Janney, Kirsty Alley, Ellen Barkin and Brittany Murphy are brilliant in it. But the lassie who plays the anorexic former pageant winner should have got an Oscar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg4VsPnQ3kk |

Deadbeat By Dawn (1988, Jim Van Webber) What is a boy to do? Your bint's gone and been slaughtered. Massacre? My choice as well. Another atrocity from the murican Ittenbach . Can't we all just get along ??@#$@!!? Bikers have a turf war. Er ..... I could say it is redolent of its peer group. But that makes nae sense so I will just say that if you like some grotty grue (hin the HD) ... step right up.

battle_beyond_stars_poster_04.jpg BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS (1980) I love this movie. Pure nostalgia for me. I went to the cinema to see this with some friends from school. I had the music stuck in my head all the time, I thought it was great. The biggest impression though was in the form of Valkyrie warrior St. Exmin played by Sybil Danning. WOW! She looked amazing and this 15 year old lad could not get enough of her! Years later I was lucky enough to meet the girl of my dreams. "sigh" 20190205_130252.jpg |

Silent Night, Deadly Night 2 (Lee Harry) "It's Garbage Day!!!" Even mair meta than The Boogeyman 2 .... so it's more like a patchwork quilt than a film. Still though ....

Reverse art is the same on the SF release anyway.

Red Dragon. A retired FBI agent who nearly lost his life in the capture of the infamous Hannibal Lecter is called back into the fray to in a desperate bid to stop a new serial killer who is wiping out entire families before he strikes again. Anthony Hopkins, Edward Norton, Ralph Fiennes and Harvey Keitel star in this early 2000s re-adaptation of Thomas Harris' first Lecter novel, and a cracking good thriller it still is too. Miles better than Manhunter too. |
