Did you see Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films at all? There is a great story at how Sharon Stone got the part.
Yeah I've seen it, it's the usual story of the doc being better than the films themselves I do have a soft spot for Masters of the Universe though.

Same here. It's nice that Frank Langella is quite fond of it too. I remember reading an interview where the interviewer was quite sniffy about the film, only for Langella to proudly defend it.

I do like Netflix. Just wish i had chance to watch a fraction of whats on there. Thanks to your link I've just realised they appear to have added a bunch of Charles Bronson flicks.

In complete contrast to the understated TDOB, last night I watched Rambo III (1988, Peter Macdonald)
Lawdy! "Dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan" as well. Bet they regret that now.....easily the funniest of the quartet, as trainee buddhist goes crazyapebonkers when his pal is abucted by nasty Russians.

Is that the film where he sits in the cockpit of a grounded plane and proceeds to use the guns to make merry hell haha? That's all I can remember of that film.

I just saw some clips and it was either a different movie or I remembered it completely wrong. If it is this it was the choppers and John wasn't in one he was shooting at them haha

In the third film he shoots down a helicopter with a bow and arrow. There's a fair bit of gunship action with Rambo at the controls laying waste to the prison camp in the second film

What did you think of the film overall ?

The Woman in the window 1944

A cracking find, Edward G Robinson and a very sexy Joan Rennett in a gripping thriller where a mild mannered Edward G (shows of his great acting range here outside of gangster roles) flirts with Jean Rennet and ends up covering up murder and trying to outsmart the police. kept me glued and a great storyline. More black and white movies on t.v please, this new generation do not know what they are missing!

I liked it. It avoided too much 'nudge and wink' references to classic cannibal movies and remained its own film. I would reccomend bone tomahawk, a cannibal western I've just watched
